For Beauty and the Beast:

Just wanted to thank you all for an amazing past few months. The gift and love you have for what you do showed in every detail of what you taught all of your students during the course of Beauty and The Beast. I love the way you demonstrated not only a love for theater, education and discipline but also a love for one another. How you taught the kids that this is not only an individual accomplishment, but most important a team effort. Something like how a family operates, as a team.

Through the course of this production we reconnected with friends we hadn't seen in a while as well as making entirely new friendships. Most of all we appreciate with all sincerity, the blessing of being a part of CTW and your CTW family. You all hold a special place in our hearts!

Thank you all for everything you do.

I can not express my gratitude for all that you do to stage a performance such as BATB.  It is quite the undertaking and the journey you extend from auditions to finale to my child is priceless!  The children/parents who don't grasp that concept I feel are missing the boat.  I appreciate your high standards and expectation and feel so strongly about that I thought I would let you know.

The memories you create is what you all bring to the table and the combination of all of your skills are truly a gift to these children and the community.  So when the road gets a little long or weary (and who doesn't as a show nears completion) I hope you realize how appreciated you truly are and how special you have become!

Sincerely,

For Audition Process:

Hello Michelle and all who were involved in the Cinderella auditions held on Saturday,

I want to send you all my deepest appreciation and gratitude for all you did for my daughter Sherry that day.  The special circumstances you created for her so she could complete her audition was nothing short of inspiring.   Your assistant, Kari Oyer, who first saw her crying in my lap was so compassionate and said she'd talk to the judges.   Then Michelle came out and talked to my daughter and asked if she was in the room with me next to her if that'd make it better; that was awesome!!  Then all of the judges made her feel so at ease, and the accompanist worked so fantastic with her as well.   I fully expected her not to make the cast in any capacity because of her stage fright that morning, which would have been fine with me and completely understandable.  We talked afterward and agreed this was probably just a good audition experience and next time would be easier.  The fact that she made it in is an unexpected and completely surprising bonus.  I'm sure this is going to go a LONG way toward helping her next audition much easier on her.   We've always heard great things about your program and those great things were experienced by my daughter and me 100 fold  that morning.

So, once again,  I wish to extend to all those involved my deepest appreciation and gratitude for all you did for Sherry that morning and she is looking so forward to working with you all in the coming months.

Sincerely,
Larry Niekamp

For Godspell:

My husband and I took advantage of the special offer to Lee County School employees and saw the Friday evening production of Godspell on May 23.

I have been a fan of Godspell since it first came out many years ago.  I have seen live productions in Tampa and at Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, I have seen the movie several times, and I had the album until our latest move, when it was broken.  I was prepared for a “kid” production, but I was blown away by the talented young people involved in Friday’s production!

The young lady who sang the solo part in “By My Side” was truly awesome!  When she started singing, I was looking around for the person who was singing, and thought she was just mouthing the words along with the soloist.  When I realized it was her doing the singing, I was amazed.  I hope she continues in musical theater; I can’t imagine what she will sound like when her voice matures!  Later, when she and the other young lady held hands and sang “Long Live God”, I couldn’t control my emotions, and found myself sobbing (I don’t think I was the only one in the audience moved by the song).

Please share my comments with the cast, and keep up the great work.  Although I will no longer be eligible for the discounts since I am retiring in June, we will be back for other productions.

Sincerely,

W. Sue Fowler, APC

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Ron Kelly and I am the technical director and the second vice president of the Board of Director for the Cultural Park Theatre.

I attended last Saturday's performance of Godspell and I was very impressed with the talent of your workshop.  Especially the vocal harmonies of By My Side and On the Willows.

I wanted to extend my
congratulations to you, your cast, and staff for a job well done and to let you know that Cultural Park Theatre will be holding auditions soon for a newly published musical that we will be producing in September.

The name of the show is DOBDINOB.  It will require a large cast of younger talent and we certainly hope to see your members at the audition.  It will be a chance for them to work on a new production with the
original script and music writers.  More information about the show can be found at www.dobdinob.com.  When the auditions dates are set, I will be sure to get the information to you so that you may let your talented cast know about the audition dates and times.

Again,
congratulations on a job very well done.

Ron Kelly

Creative Theater Workshop has been the best thing that has ever come into my daughter Julia's life.  She's been involved with this program for three years now and has made dramatic improvements in several areas.  Being involved in such a program has taught her the true meaning of  responsibility and commitment. Now who doesn't want that for their child!  She has also come out of her shell so to speak regarding her acting/singing skills as a direct result of some amazing guidance and teaching from Michelle and her crew.  Julia has been in Annie Jr., Wizard of Oz, and most recently Godspell.  I cannot thank Michelle and her wonderful staff enough for their passion and commitment to this program.  It has also been a blessing for me because I've gotten involved in volunteering for the shows and have made some amazing friends!
